An ESF firm had a client that was leasing a building and facing a $10 million lawsuit from the building’s owner for property damage due to environmental contamination. The ESF firm turned to ECAP.

ECAP found a qualified buyer willing to pay full market value for the property, thereby eliminating the need for litigation. The client paid the cleanup costs and extended its lease to help secure financing for the transaction.  ECAP negotiated both the insurance and the financing.  Ultimately, the EHS firm secured $600,000 in remediation work and greatly enhanced its reputation with the client and the attorneys.
